Ah, Breakfast. For some it’s the most important meal of the day, for others it means a quick bite alongside their morning coffee as they run out the door. Whatever your preference, we at Cecconi’s Flinders Lane offer a variety of seasonal breakfast dishes including classic winter warmers and grab-and-go bites to keep the ‘hanger’ at bay until lunchtime. 

Let us run you through a few of our favourite seasonal breakfast choices:

Cold weather calls for hearty, warm dishes that fill you up and fuel you as you battle the winter chill. Our use of premium ingredients makes even the simplest of dishes delicious, like a classic bowl of Coconut Porridge. Undoubtedly a wintertime favourite, this bowl of warm oat-y goodness will have you feeling full of nostalgia and ready to take on the day. Served with fresh banana, desiccated coconut and your choice of milk, you can’t go wrong with this timeless dish.

How about something traditionally Italian to treat your senses? Our Italian Salsicce is the way to go. Consisting of Cotechino sausage, poached eggs and salsa verde on toast, this classic has a perfectly balanced complexity of flavour that gives you a little taste as to what Cecconi’s truly has to offer. If you’re in the mood for something on the savoury side that’s a little simpler, we’ve also got you covered. We serve fail-safe, eggs on toast with your choice of extras or smashed avocado served with goat’s cheese, olive oil and lemon on fresh toast. If you want to be full to the brim and roll out our doors satisfied as can be, go with our Big Breakfast. Complete with eggs your way, bacon, slow roasted tomato, braised mushrooms and chicken and chive sausages on sourdough toast, this generous dish is a true crowd pleaser.
